I have so much to tell, so much to say, so much to do, so much to realize and I'm still doing things the same way. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Just hope to record the things I still enjoy most and while I can. One day I will lift my head high and say I'm not the one before =) P/S: I learn something in french class...c'est la vie!

Kek Lok Si Temple @ Penang

Have you ever tired to ask a Penangite (People who lives in Penang) what are the places worth visiting and most of them does share one common answer which is Kek Lok Si Temple. Today I show you what is so special about Kek Lok Si Temple. In Penang most of the people had their conversation in Hokkien and therefore, "Kek Lok Si" Temple for the Penangite means "Temple of Supreme Bliss". What mark the specialty of this temple is that the project(constructing the temple) received the sanction of the Emperor Guangxu(tenth emperor of the Manchu-led Qing Dynasty) , who bestowed a tablet and gift of 70,000 volumes of the Imperial Edition of the Buddhist Sutras. Once you proceed further up you will eventually reach to a Souvenir shop. Enter the shop (Don't worry, I won't ask you to buy souvenirs for me XD) you will see a counter surrounded by aluminum gates which will lead you to the incline lift. Purchase the ticket and you will reach to the huge bronze statue of Avalokiteshvara(Guan Yin).

Right above this door lies the bronze statue of Guan Yin
