I have so much to tell, so much to say, so much to do, so much to realize and I'm still doing things the same way. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Just hope to record the things I still enjoy most and while I can. One day I will lift my head high and say I'm not the one before =) P/S: I learn something in french class...c'est la vie!

Famous Char Siu Rice @ Restoran Spring Golden, Taman Sri Muda

A bit of introduction before we get our way to famous Char Siu Rice!!!
Literally, Char Siu means "Fork Roast" in English and the translation somehow does reflects to the dish. This is so because the shops usually display the Char Siu (Usually referred as Roasted Pork) by hanging (skewered with long fork) them in the window. Hence, the name "Fork Roast".
Char Siu is actually barbequed pork meat and the meat is usually shoulder cut of domestic pork.
Char Siu also got its name at 28 on World's 50 Most Delicious Food readers' poll complied by CNN Go in 2011.

Now the Famous Char Siu Rice in Shah Alam!

Mille Crêpe @ Nadeje Dataran Pahlawan, Malacca

Since the1st time I tried Nadeje's cakes, I fell in love with the cakes there immediately. The cakes there are known as Mille Crêpe. Unlike Secret Recipe with those normal cheese cakes, Mille Crêpe is a French cake made of many Crêpe layers. Crêpe here is a very thin layer of pancake. Enough of history >.< lets show you the thing about Nadeje's famous.

Lets get started~~~

This is what I have been falling in love with~ Mille Crêpe

We actually had our lunch there and Nadeje is not all about cakes. Look at this Japanese Pizza! Delicious~

Not to forget the drinks there is above par too. Summer Day (front)

Picture of the day~

I must say I like this picture. especially my expression >.<
To have a slice of Nadeje's famous Mille Crêpe you need to get yourself to Dataran Pahlawan in Malacca.
Nadeje is above Dataran Pahlawan opposite to Oldtown. (P/S: Be early to avoid long waits for seats.)

My birthday @ Shabu Shabu, Bandar Puteri Puchong

Thanks to my friends I have another post for my birthday celebration =)
My birthday actually falls in the most busy week of the trimester. Everyone is facing end assignment due date and continuous midterms which doesn't seem ending. Even though its a busy week, they still hand me over a birthday celebration at Shabu Shabu in Bandar Puteri Puchong. Then we headed to Alamanda for Narnia!
P/S: I'm launching my new watermark together with this post as well ^^,

Thanks for the treat =)

Its time to introduce the gang! The gang who ate seriously a lot >.< and I really mean it! A lot! Before that thanks to Eng Siang for his sacrifice to go Shabu Shabu even though he already had his dinner =) FYI: Shabu Shabu serves buffet steamboat.

Wen Chuan

Ah Kok (He eats nonstop, he continues eating even everyone had stopped)

Cheng Yang (aka Anai) The famous "house-husband"

Zuo Han (aka RoboYap)

Eng Siang (aka Zainan)

Refering to Ah Kok's picture above I did mentioned that he eats a lot. Now I'm going to prove the fact that he really eats nonstop. Since RoboYap sits nearer to the steamboat belt, he delivers food to Ah Kok nonstop like a robot >.<

See! Even Anai scratches his head when he sees how Ah Kok eat =.=

Everyone is so busy eating until they didn't notice I took this picture. Look at the table @.@

The Steamboat belt. Looks exactly like Sushi belts >.<

Now I introduce to you the most famous dish (actually there is another famous dish but its particularly to Ah Kok only =.= ) that everyone likes to eat =) Personal favorite

Pork!!! Super delicious!!!

After this super heavy meal we head to Alamanda for Narnia. Overall Shabu Shabu is worth going. The food quality is good and the service is awesome too. The worker continuously offers us food >.< I shall say this is a penny worth restaurant especially when you eat exactly like Ah Kok

My birthday @ Pasta Zanmai, Sunway

Before continuing further lets have a look at the birthday boy's picture! (actually I love the feel of the picture so its worth sharing with everyone =P)

DSC_0022_edited_副本
Celebrating my 21st Birthday!

In my previous post I posted a picture about the place I celebrated my birthday. Did it keep you guessing? I hope so >.< Unveiling the answer is.....Pasta Zanmai in Sunway! (Mentioned in the title already =.= ) She have been searching for a decent place to celebrate my birthday and finally it was Pasta Zanmai which made up her mind.

I forgotten to capture the main entrance of Pasta Zanmai so I'm just going to settle with chopsticks sets to introduce Pasta Zanmai. haha

Its not cheap having a meal there but since its my birthday she wouldn't mind to give me a treat once awhile =) Honestly speaking the food there is double-thumbs up! I would be dying to go there for another round (*grin) Lets start with Special Green Tea!

Beside tasting a little bit sweet and darker colored than usual I can't see why its called "Special" Green Tea >.< maybe I'm just not used be lavished with these expensive stuff.

Up next the main meal of the day. They do provide side dishes for set meals ordered and I must say both main and side dishes taste dazzling. I ordered a Unagi set meal which comes with Unagi with rice and a bowl of salad.

Just look at the way they serve it. Especially the egg. Nicely cooked!

Here's the salad.

She ordered a set of unagi too but it comes with pasta as side dish. Actually we were planning another set of meal but i mistakenly ordered this >.< my bad for ordering 2 sets of unagi T.T

The Japanese style of our "nasi goreng pataya" with Unagi on top >.<

The pasta (p/s: preparing this post makes me hungry T.T)

That is all about the food we had together in Pasta Zanmai. If you would ask me is Pasta Zanmai recommendable? I would absolutely recommend it! The food tastes superb! Worth going once awhile >.< expensive though. Last but not least as promised to show what she bought for me as my birthday present~

She bought me a Estee Lauder perfume for men. I have been nagging of buying a perfume for a long time (eventhough I'm not sure why I need it).

Thanks dear for my celebration =)

As usual before I end my post I will be giving directions to the restaurant >.<
Its located in Sunway Piramid. Which part of Sunway Piramid? I have found a free mobile application which will show you the location of all the shops in Sunway which you can find it here: My Mall Application

J.COOL Yogurt @ J.Co Donuts and Coffee

Found out a good and healthy dessert after your dinner. The yogurt thingy wasn't my cup of tea. Everytime I passed by J.Co Donut I was more into the donuts rather than the Yogurt. The preference of donut over yogurt ended after I have tested it myself!

DSC_0002_edited_副本
Yogurt with 3 side toppings of fresh fruits~~~

If you wonder what is the price of the yogurt here is the price list.

DSC_0010_edited_副本
Not that cheap really compared to the size of it >.< but still worth the try

Almost forgot to mention that the yogurt is actually Ice-cream yogurt. So its a really decent dessert =)
I spend most of the time enjoying J.COOL Yogurt.

How much I enjoyed it~

Chicken Rice Ball @ Classical Chicken Rice, Dataran Pahlawan

I have been passing by this shop numerous time. The smell of the Chicken Rice really traps my thoughts. Actually I never fancied Chicken Rice in restaurant in shopping complex. I tried once before in The Chicken Rice Shop and it wasn't a very memorable experience though. Yet there is always an exception especially when the Chicken Rice smell is really really inviting >.<

DSC_0014_edited_副本
Have a look carefully and you'll notice at the right bottom there is signatures. I guessed some "famous" people had dine in before.

If anyone of you were guessing why I mentioned Chicken Rice "Ball", my wild guess would be you never been to Malacca before >.< Whenever you visit Malacca, Chicken Rice Ball is a must to prove that you have been to Malacca. Imagine Rice Ball. Let me help you here. ^^,

DSC_0021_edited_副本
Ever-famous Malacca Chicken Rice Balls

Well, since its still chicken rice except that the rice takes a special shape, basically there is still classical chicken and roasted chicken to be served together. Note that its not "chicken ball". =)

DSC_0016_edited_副本
Classical Chicken.

DSC_0017_edited_副本
Roasted chicken

Apart of chicken, I still love the cucumber the most ^^, especially when its mixed with those soy sauce dipping those chicken. Got to try out Chicken Rice Ball. There is actually more shops that sells better but for convenience sake (This shop's location is easy to find) I recommend this!
Location of the shop can be found in my previous post about Dataran Pahlawan.

Coffee @ Old Taste Cafe, Malacca

Long time since my last update, kinda busy actually >.<
Just to keep you guys updated with those "yumcha" places in Malacca worth to go. Most of people nowadays would like to go OldTown for a tea break or a hangout for a group of friends. There is actually a similar spot which is OldTaste in Malacca. The range in OldTaste is rather similar to OldTown.

DSC_0059_edited_副本
Classical set up just like OldTown right?

DSC_0054_edited_副本
I want to introduce the coffee behind this Milk Tea.

The coffee in the picture is no ordinary coffee. The coffee is added with Chinese Herbal Jelly. I know it sounds weird but its worth trying and the taste is very interesting ^^, Something different from OldTown! Actually I'm not coffee lover but the mixture of Herbal jelly and Coffee grabs my attention >.<

DSC_0068_edited_副本
Ordered Onion rings which is my favorite ^^,

Actually we ordered Sambal Fried Rice but the smell is too attractive until I forgot to take a picture of it >.< my bad! Remember to try out Sambal Fried Rice =) Not much of picture though. More in the next post!

Hong Kong Restaurant @ Wong Kok Char Chan Teng

Yes this is another chapter all about food! This post I will introduce about a common restaurant (you can notice this restaurant in most of the big shopping complex) which offers Hong Kong style cuisines. If you need a place for a gang of friends to hang out, this is the place. Birthday parties too not to be forgotten. Why celebrate here? The best part is that if you are in a group of 5 or more you are entitle to have a "huge" milk tea (if you spend more than RM30) and a RM5 coupon for the birthday boy! Hurray!!!  Lets go for food now!

DSC_0130_edited_副本
Here you go! Big bowl of Wong Kok Char Chan Teng!

Giant Pork Chop with rice (served with Mushroom sauce)

DSC_0122_edited_副本
Another Pork Chop with rice but this time its grilled and served with Black pepper sauce!

DSC_0124_edited_副本
Its kinda like a Japanese bento because it serves with rice + vegetables + prawn.

DSC_0128_edited_副本
Personal favorite! This taste the best (it has lots of sausages and minced meat)

After bashing you with good food are you ready for Wong Kok now?Haha. For more information about the latest promotions and events happening in Wong Kok you can browse the below website of Wong Kok:
If you want to know where is the nearest Wong Kok available in your area the website above do provide a list of branches. The next headache is how to get there. I would suggest that uncle Google here will be glad to show the way =)

Sushi@Sibaraku Mahkota Parade, Melaka

Its been awhile since my last post in this blog of mine >.< I was seriously lazy although I had the pictures to share with everyone. Lazy bump! In this post I would like to bring everyone to Sibaraku, listening to the Japanese liked name you would have a wild guess that this place got to do with Japanese food. If you have guessed so, congrats you got it right! In Sibaraku you can have Japanese sushi buffet or normal Japanese food servings like famous Sushi King.

DSC_0043_edited_副本
The interior design of Sibaraku. P/S: You don't have to fold your legs when you sit >.< there is a hole underneath the table for your legs~

Now Sibaraku is having a promotion on going that when you spend RM15 above on your dine in meal in Sibaraku, you are entitle for a sushi set which worth RM12 for just RM2! Sounds interesting right?
DSC_0047_edited_副本
The big RM2 on the paper explains everything =)

There was this small container beside the paper from the picture above. See it? At first I though it contained wasabi but my guess was wrong. I guess this Japanese restaurant adapted to our Malaysian way of eating >.< Look whats inside here:
DSC_0052_edited_副本
Chill powder! Malaysian spicy taste buds are in the house for this Japanese restaurant

Enough of Introduction of Sibaraku and now its time to introduce the food! Well this time we ordered two sets of bento. There were on promotion as well so overall about the price during promotions, its definitely cheaper than Sushi King! Haha
DSC_0077_edited_副本
This is mine! Seafood bento. Two big juicy prawn with lots and lots of vegetables. Big Mushrooms and don't forget a big slice of salmon too ^^,

DSC_0079_edited_副本
This is one of the side dishes I get. Salad prawn. I love the way they serve it in a emptied tomato. Superbly and nicely done!

DSC_0075_edited_副本
This is her order. Spicy Udon. I must say the soup is wonderful. Spicy and delicious. Cannot forget too that it has lots of toufu and minced chicken.

Why I sit look like that with all those delicious food? Its about the RM2 sushi set...disappointing~

I was wondering whether its because of its a promotion item or its originally looked that way. Anyway, the sushi is way better than Sushi King. Again I'm comparing with Sushi King. No offense really that the taste really speaks for it.
P/S: Sushi King lovers, please don't hate my blog T.T

DSC_0068_edited_副本

So much of "a set" of sushi. haha. Nevertheless I love the taste of it!

DSC_0069_edited_副本
Close up close up! Delicious!

Since its in Mahkota Parade. Directions please refer to my older post on Dataran Pahlawan. Its just opposite Dataran Pahlawan. Once again Sibaraku didn't pay me or treat me to compare against Sushi King >.<
P/S: Sushi King lovers please don't hate my blog T.T I go Sushi King very often too~~~
